It sounds like you won a free pass that you can use for Balboa Festival HaniBal 2025
Here’s a quick breakdown of what the message means: When registering, you can pick a pass based on what your voucher covers. If you choose a Free Party Pass, you might be able to upgrade it later (only if there’s space) to Workshop pass. For an upgrade to Full pass, send us an email. You can’t exchange this free pass for a Volunteer pass.
Your partner doesn’t have a Free Pass?
They have to register separately, not together with your free pass. They must choose either a Full Pass (same dance level as you) or a Party Pass. When registering, you (and your partner) should write each other’s names in the comments section. That way, we can link you as partners!

Once you sign up as a Volunteer, our team will get in touch with your schedule and the areas where you’ll be helping out. Please make sure to complete the hours you signed up for—we’re counting on you!
Why Pay If I’m Volunteering?
Good question! We get it. You’re giving your time, so why open up you wallet to? While your help is super valuable, we still need to cover the costs of our amazing teachers and the event itself. Your contribution is greatly appreciated, and in return, you get your pass at a discounted rate.

We’ve only got a certain number of Volunteer spots available—once they’re gone, they’re gone! So if you’re thinking about joining the team and grabbing that discounted pass, don’t wait too long.😉

The Volunteer Pass cannot be exchanged for a Free Full Pass, Free Party Pass or upgraded pass. Thank you for your help and support!
Price tiers will be determined based on the time of registration, provided the fee is paid within 7 days of registration acceptance as presented in the table below, otherwise we reserve the right to cancel your registration and offer your spot to somebody else.
* Please note: Full Pass and Full Party Pass has an option to access to competition. Competition participation registration and payment is separate from Full Pass or Party Pass or Free Pass. | ** You can upgrade pass if there is a space left. | *** Even though pre-party’s entrance fee is included in the Full pass and Party pass, you will need to register later in special form on our website. The space at the preparty is severely limited due to safety regulations of the venue, so not everyone can participate. We will announce the pre-party registration our Facebook event and Instagram.
